We don't build homes ourselves. We do something arguably more valuable.

Wolf Den is an authorized Alaska and Pacific dealer representing select modular and container home manufacturers based in the continental U.S. — chosen after years of evaluating builders for quality, construction standards, and the ability to deliver to the regions we serve.

Our founder grew up in Alaska and has built homes in Fiji and Oregon. She learned the important thing early: building the right home for a place takes three things — knowing the conditions, partnering with a builder experienced enough to design for those conditions, and then handling the logistics that follow. That last part is often the hardest: barging, weather, tides, packing, protecting, pricing, and timing around the seasons.

We partner with proven builders. We handle the barging, the trucking, the logistics, and the follow-through. One accountable partner, from first conversation to keys in hand.

Our Story
Interior of modular home with loft and cedar ceiling

Compact. Efficient. Made to travel.

Every model is engineered to arrive ready to live in. Metal roofing, high-grade siding, superior insulation, and one-piece construction where possible — because assembly crews are expensive in Juneau and don't exist on a lot of islands.

The home is the easy part. Getting it there is the work.

01

Design & Spec

We work with you to select the right model, finishes, and systems for your climate and site. Residential, commercial, or workforce — we scope it honestly.

02

Factory Build

Your home is built in a climate-controlled facility, on schedule, unaffected by Alaska winters or Pacific storm seasons. Typical build window: 3–6 months.

03

Delivered On-Site

We coordinate barge, truck, and ferry logistics to your site — including villages, islands, and remote parcels most builders refuse to quote.

Four regions. One accountable dealer.

Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the Pacific Northwest share more than most people realize — remote sites, barge-dependent delivery, extreme conditions, and a housing market where conventional site-built construction is painfully slow and expensive.

We work in all four, so we can often do in weeks what it takes mainland builders months to figure out.

01
Alaska
Road-system, barge, and bush plane delivery to villages statewide. Cold-climate insulation packages, one-piece configurations for remote sites.
02
Hawaii
All main islands via Matson and Pasha barge. Finishes chosen for salt air, humidity, and high UV conditions.
03
Guam
Containerized shipping from the West Coast. Typhoon-rated specifications available for coastal sites.
04
Pacific NW
Washington, Oregon, and coastal British Columbia by truck and ferry. Short lead times, same build quality.

Straight talk on how buyers pay for these.

Most park model, container, and small ADU buyers can't use traditional 30-year mortgages — but they don't need to. Cash, HELOCs, and specialty park-model loans are how most of our buyers pay, and each path has trade-offs worth understanding before you call a lender.

  • Cash purchases — the simplest path
  • Home equity lines of credit (HELOCs)
  • Cash-out refinance from an existing home
  • Buildertrend Financing — up to $150K via Nelnet Bank
  • LightStream — up to $100K unsecured personal loan
  • Regional Alaska banks & credit unions
